課程概述 |
Cell biology is the study of the structure and function of cells. In this course, we will explore many different areas of cellular biology, including the formation and function of bio-macromolecules; regulation of gene expression; membrane and organelle structure and function; bioenergetics; cell cycle, and cellular communications. We will discuss how cellular activities and signaling pathways participate in the mechanisms of relevant human disorders. We will also emphasize developing critical thinking processes and increasing proficiency in scientific reading in the course. |

Exams are open book, unless otherwise noticed. Please be aware that electronic copies of textbook or other digital resources are not permitted in the exam room. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, electronic readers, or other miscellaneous electronic devices are not permitted as well. If you are eligible for special exam arrangement due to mental health reason, please inform Dr. Hsueh-Ping Chu cchu2017@ntu.edu.tw at least 2 weeks ahead of each exam. The overall course grade will be an average of three scores of Exams I (33%) , II (33%) and III (33%).
